Experiential marketing agency in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is home. Our LA team plans, designs and produces brand experiences across the city, from two-day pop-ups at The Grove to fan events inside the LA Memorial Coliseum.

Experiential marketing in Los Angeles
AGENC is an experiential marketing agency headquartered in Los Angeles. Most of what we build here has two audiences: the guests standing in the room, and the far larger group who see it later through press, talent posts and creator content. Our founder and CEO, Cara Kleinhaut, coined #DesignForDigital for exactly that problem, and it still shapes how we plan an LA build. Sightlines, photo moments, lighting and guest flow are worked out for the camera as carefully as for the people walking through.
Experiential marketing in Los Angeles also means working inside an entertainment calendar. Awards season, premieres, upfront-style showcases and festival weekends in the desert all compete for the same talent, press and venues. We have produced across that calendar for Prime Video, Hulu, MTV, Bloomberg Live, InStyle and goop, and our producers know how load-in windows, neighbor notices and permit timelines differ between a Westside mall, a Hollywood studio and a private estate in the hills. You can see the full range on our work page.
LA is also where our crews, fabricators and vendors live. After the January 2025 wildfires we backed #StayInLA, the push to keep productions in the city, because the people who make this work depend on it. Keeping a project local shortens site visits, keeps rehearsals on schedule and means the team that designed the build is the one standing at the door on opening day.

Los Angeles in 2026, 2027 and 2028
Three tentpoles in three years
LA hosted World Cup matches at SoFi Stadium in 2026, ran the FIFA Fan Festival at the LA Memorial Coliseum and opened ten official fan zones, including the Original Farmers Market, Union Station, Venice Beach and Downtown Burbank (BizBash). Super Bowl LXI comes to SoFi on February 14, 2027, with Super Bowl Week events spread across the region, and the Olympic and Paralympic Games follow in 2028 (LA Super Bowl Host Committee).
The World Cup showed where brands want to be seen: U.S. Soccer House in Venice Beach, Michelob ULTRA's Pitchside Club on Santa Monica Pier, and 7-Eleven activations in Hollywood, downtown and Huntington Beach (Event Marketer, Event Marketer).
Venues worth the scouting
Cara's own LA picks, written for BizBash in April 2026, lean private: estates in Beverly Hills, Bel Air and West Hollywood (including a Lautner residence used for a Louis Vuitton dinner) and the former Gladstones site in Malibu, which hosted a Dior Cruise after-party.
Permits
FilmLA handles film permits and does not process special event permits. Temporary use of a building, property or public way runs through the city's LADBS Temporary Special Event permit, and events longer than seven days normally need a building permit. We build permit review into the first production schedule, not the last.
