Experiential marketing in Houston
Houston's scale is easy to underestimate from the coasts. RodeoHouston drew more than 2.6 million people to its grounds in 2026, and the city's FIFA Fan Festival in East Downtown logged more than half a million visits over the World Cup. Crowds that size reward brands that read the city correctly, and that is the main thing an experiential marketing agency in Houston has to get right.
Our Houston work proves that point. In 2019 we produced a trailer drop for Netflix and Travis Scott's "Look Mom I Can Fly" by taking over a video rental store in Houston, the artist's hometown, so a national release landed in the place his fans already connected with him. In 2025, Houston was a stop on innisfree's K-Beauty Brighter Skin Tour with Miami and New York, built around masterclasses and a pop-up coffee cart outside Sephora.
AGENC has no Houston office. We produce in Houston from our Los Angeles and New York teams, and we plan around the things that matter here: summer heat and storms for anything outdoors, driving distances between neighborhoods, and the March rodeo season that fills hotels and venues. For touring launches like innisfree, we build once and adapt each stop to its venue. See how that works on our brand activation page, or browse our work.
Houston also fits the multi-city tours we run for beauty and entertainment clients. innisfree's tour paired Houston with Miami and New York, and Drunk Elephant's C-Luma tour ran two days in each of its three cities with more than 2,000 visitors a day. A tour build designed in Los Angeles or New York has to be adapted at every stop, from power and load-in access to how long a line can safely wait outdoors. In a Houston summer, that last point gets extra attention.

RodeoHouston, EaDo and the post-World Cup city
RodeoHouston
The 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo recorded total grounds attendance of 2,621,765, with 1,391,259 paid rodeo and concert tickets and 231,304 at the World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest. Cody Johnson set a stadium record of 80,203 on March 22, 2026. The next rodeo runs March 2 to 21, 2027 (RodeoHouston). For three weeks every March, the rodeo is the city's main event, and brand plans should start there.
The World Cup in East Downtown
NRG Stadium hosted seven World Cup matches attended by 480,186 fans. The FIFA Fan Festival in East Downtown (EaDo) drew 551,313 attendees over 39 days, the neighborhood saw nearly a million visitors, and METRO logged about 5.5 million rides (Houston Host Committee). adidas brought its "Home of Soccer" program to Houston as well (Event Marketer). EaDo proved it can handle large, repeat crowds, which makes it worth a look for future activations. The lesson for brands is that a district with transit access and room to queue can carry a multi-week program, not just a single night.

Rodeo-season activations
Hospitality, sampling and branded experiences timed to the three weeks of RodeoHouston, planned around crowds, parking and hotel demand. Brands that are not official partners can still reach rodeo crowds through nearby hotels, restaurants and private venues.
