Experiential marketing in Atlanta
Atlanta handles very large crowds downtown and very loyal ones everywhere else. In the same summer, the city hosted a World Cup semifinal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and a FIFA Fan Festival in Centennial Olympic Park, then welcomed about 75,000 people to Dragon Con over Labor Day weekend. For a brand, that means two different jobs: standing out in a stadium district full of sponsors, or showing up for a fan base that already has its own rituals.
As an experiential marketing agency in Atlanta, we scout in person and bring in the fabricators and crews each project needs. Our Atlanta work has been about culture rather than spectacle. For ONYX's Deli Boys launch, Atlanta was a stop on a comedy tour with Don't Tell Comedy that surprised audiences with performances tied to the show. East of the city, we built a peach-themed pop-up in Athens for Sprinter's Peach 4-pack, a launch made for a college town.
The next big date is Super Bowl LXII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in February 2028. Our team built Paramount's 36,000-square-foot mountain for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, and the lesson from that week applies here: the venues, permits and hotel blocks that make a Super Bowl activation work are booked long before the matchup is known.
Most of our work outside Los Angeles and New York starts as touring, and Atlanta fits naturally on a national route. The Deli Boys campaign covered six cities with one creative idea and local execution in each. Drunk Elephant's C-Luma tour ran two days in each of three cities with more than 2,000 visitors a day. When a client asks for Atlanta, the first question is whether it should be one stop on a route like that or a standalone moment built around a date like Super Bowl LXII or Dragon Con.
What we've produced in Atlanta
Deli Boys comedy tour
Atlanta was one of the cities on a Don't Tell Comedy tour that launched ONYX's new series with surprise sets, part of a campaign that also put branded food trucks on LA streets.
Sprinter peach pop-up
A peach-themed pop-up in Athens to launch the Peach 4-pack from Kylie Jenner's Sprinter, placed in a Georgia college town to match the flavor and the audience.
Atlanta's event calendar after the World Cup
World Cup and the fan festival
Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted Atlanta's final 2026 World Cup match, a July 15 semifinal between Argentina and England. Before the tournament, the Metro Atlanta Chamber projected more than $503 million in economic activity across Georgia (CBS News Atlanta). The FIFA Fan Festival ran in Centennial Olympic Park (FIFA), and brand programs such as adidas "Home of Soccer" and Target's Summer Goals Tour, which stopped in Atlanta on July 11, came to the city (Event Marketer, Event Marketer). The tournament also reached beyond downtown: an Emory study cited by CBS News Atlanta estimated that Decatur's WatchFest could contribute up to $142 million, a sign that neighborhood watch parties can draw serious crowds.
Super Bowl LXII
The NFL picked Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Super Bowl LXII on February 13, 2028 (CBS Sports). Downtown, the stadium, Centennial Olympic Park and the surrounding hotels sit close together, which makes fan experiences and VIP hospitality easier to link on foot.
Fan conventions
Dragon Con held its 40th edition downtown over Labor Day weekend 2026 and drew about 75,000 attendees (Fox 5 Atlanta). For entertainment brands with a series or game to promote, that is a large, engaged crowd that turns up in costume and posts everything.
